ELIZABETH W: Albert NicholsMick Margo Member Since Fall 2007 What was your inspiration for this collection?My great grandmother, who founded a ranch in the Sierra Nevadas in the 1800s, when neither grace nor style were required or desired. Her spirit of determination and independence went hand in hand with her romantic nature and classic elegance. She was the obvious inspiration for my business.
What music are you listening to right now?My favorite music changes daily. It's like the age of the single, but instead of 45's I download anything I want to hear either current or classic.
What is your favorite book?Winter's Tale by Isak Dinesen
If you had to pick one object in your home that exemplifies your personality, what would it be?As a child, my grandmother started a collection of ink wells for me and it contains examples ranging from glass baseballs to silver ships bells.
If you weren't a designer what would you be?A gardener. |
