Tila MarchMick Margo Member Since Fall 2008 What was your inspiration for the Fall 2008 Collection?I always like chic, discreet fashion with interesting mixes of colours and materials . This time I wanted to also convey though very subtlety, a regard on Nature. Meaning Nature as an inspiration but transformed by human contact: Suede leather as very sensual and genuine but treated with a wet effect to create a new hand feel , Butterfly on the "Papillon" line as a key item but with peaks on the aisles to switch the message...
What was it that made you want to become a designer?Even when I was studyng Economics at La Sorbonne, I knew I wanted to become a stylist, it was like that!
What is the favorite piece you've ever created?Zelig tote bag : because people keep telling me that once they try it, they dont stop carrying it even if old, damaged, dirty... It is great feeling to hear those comments even from people you don't know.
Who is your style icon?Diana Vreeland. So chic...
What do you like most about the city you live in?I am not so attached to a specific city, I lived in New-York and I loved it but of course Paris is so charming. I like the colours of the lights at the end of the day...
If you were stranded on a desert island, what item would you take with you?Earl Grey tea sachet.
