What is your favorite piece you've ever created?My favorite piece I've ever created is probably the pink fish tail skirt with the red tiles from Spring 09. It has so many pieces to it and moves so gracefully.
Who is your style icon and why?I tend to focus more on characters from stories rather than real life people. So, I would have to say Helena Bonham Carter in Howard's End. The character embodies an elegant madness that makes me swoon.
What do you like most about living in NYC?That everything imaginable is accessible at anytime. No other city in the world is like it.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what item would you take with you?My Ipod WITH charger, speakers, electrical socket. Then I would be pretty happy. And a survival guide. Is that too much?
What is your all time favorite song?Now this is the toughest for me and I can't answer just one so here goes a few: Sweet Virgina by the Rolling Stones, California Stars by Billy Bragg and Wilco, Common People and Like a Friend by Pulp, anything by Dolly Parton.
